I will be speaking at several events in the near future.

I will talk about the Doctrine of Discovery, Manifest Destiny, and American history and law

January 21 at a public event in Bend, Oregon at the Central Oregon Community College, 4-5:30 pm (this talk qualifies for Oregon CLE credit)

January 22, 2010 in Sisters, Oregon at a high school history teachers training

February 11, 2010 at the University of Kansas Law School

February 18, at the Douglas County Oregon Historical Museum

March 15-23 at several events in Chile

May 8, 2010 in Crescent City, CA at a Teaching America conference

(In Feb. I might also be speaking in Sydney and Brisbane Australia).

I will also speak about Indian education issues

January 14, 2010 at the Indigenous Ways of Knowing conference at Lewis & Clark College.

I will speak about Indian economic development issues

Jan. 8, 2010, at the American Association of Law Schools annual conference in New Orleans

March 26, 2010 at a tribal economic development conference at the University of Idaho Law School in Moscow Idaho.

I will speak about cultural preservation issues at an American Philosophical Society conference in Philadelphia May 20-21.
