Iroquois National lacrosse team having passport problems

The Iroquois Nationals departure for the World Lacrosse Championships has been delayed indefinitely by the US Department of State. As you might know, the team usually travels on Haudenosaunee passports issued by their tribal governments. Apparently, the United States has said that it will not support either their departure or return to the US. This reverses a 25 year support of the Haudenosaunee passports.
