Minnesota Indian appointed federal magistrate

Leo Brisbois has become the first American Indian to serve as a United States magistrate judge in Minnesota, and is only the second American Indian to ever hold the position in the nation. Judge Brisbois is a citizen of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe Indians.
